About The Foundation
The Phyllis and Joel Ehrlich Foundation supports charitable organizations that celebrate and elevate the mind, body, and spirit. The Foundation seeks to promote “human harmony” and initiatives dedicated to the arts, education, wellness, and spiritual growth.The PJE foundation is inspired by the idea of catalytic philanthropy – a philosophy wherein funds and in-kind services flow to organizations that have the potential to make the most change.
The Foundation supports a variety of small non-profits generally surrounding three themes – arts, education, and community improvement. Phyllis and Joel are active members and supporters of The Museum of Jewish Heritage, New York Historical Society, Tenement Museum, Film Society of Lincoln Center, New York Theatre Workshop, The Frick Collection, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. In recent years, they have also supported the Carolinas HealthCare Foundation and Columbia University Medical Center.
Phyllis Ehrlich is a recognized marketing leader who currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Client Solutions Officer for Time Warner Cable Media. She is extremely proud of her participation in mentoring and shaping the lives of young people and is a member of the Board of Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) and City Parks Foundation. Joel Ehrlich is a former corporate executive, working on a vibrant second act as a college professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, motivational speaker, business consultant, and philanthropist.
